5-22-2023 STRCON (Weight) EMOM 12 OF: - 3 sumo deadlifts SCORE: Heaviest weight lifted NOTES: For these lifts, lets focus on lifting a moderate weight (50-60% if you know your 1RM sumo deadlift) or something that FEELS difficult but that you would NEVER fail on. Our focus here is to move fast through each rep off the floor, with a thoughtful and smooth reset back to the floor before being fast into the next rep. Think vertical torso the entire time with less of a 'traditional' horizontal spinal deadlift position.

5-22-2023 METCON (Rounds, Rx2, Rx3) 7 MIN AMRAP OF: - 30 Double Unders - 3 Power Cleans Rx: Double Unders, 205/135 Rx2: 20 seconds Double Under Practice, 155/105 Rx3: Single Unders/Line Hops, 95/65 SCORE: Total number of rounds and reps completed GOAL: More than 6 rounds. NOTES: The double unders today should be something that can be finished quickly with very few mistakes. If this can't be done, modify to a single under OR practice double unders for 20 seconds. The power cleans should be a heavier weight for cycling a barbell, which will cause us to move to quick singles pretty early in the WOD. May be best to start the WOD in that manner! This WOD is fast (each round should take less than 1:00)... So start furious and hang on!!!! Intensity is the name of the game on this one.
